Oh my goodness. I could just eat these two up. They turn 1 on June 2nd and we can’t wait to make our way to Louisiana to celebrate. We have not been back home since X-mas so June will be a huge treat. It is hard being away from those you love, but the pictures and webcam certainly come in handy. Good thing we have all this technology. My sister and her hubby have the 2 cutest twins ever. And I am not just saying that because they are my little nephews…they just are

Poppy and little Johnny came to visit us in Jax over the past two weeks. It was terrific to see them and the rest of the Martin Family. We enjoyed a fabulous BBQ at the Martin’s home on Black Creek. There were kids running around all over, with swimming, volleyball & drinks! It was a great time. Then Brandon and I had Poppy, little Johnny and Poppy’s sister Holly over for dinner on Thursday night. We feasted on a delicious gourmet salad Poppy suggested & made for us. It is amazing to see Poppy as a mom. She is a natural and is so happy. Johnny is a sweet baby and very happy. The only time he cried is when he was hungry or needed a diaper change. How lucky did Poppy & John get! Very very lucky We can’t wait until they are in town again. Enjoy the pics…click here!

We are thrilled that our Maw Maw won a brand new 2008 C300 Luxury Mercedes Sedan last weekend in Biloxi, Mississippi! She more than deserves this special car for a special lady. April 9, 2008 The giant is celebrating his birthday this week and he is having a blast. Last night we headed out to Stonewood for a late Birthday dinner with Shelby & Coley. We had a blast and couldn’t stop the laughs. They just kept coming and coming with one joke flying out of Brandon’s mouth and then another and another. Really you missed a good time. What a great holiday…Easter in Jax with Colleen, Scott & Grandpa Scott! It was certainly a treat and we enjoyed every minute of it. We ate tons of food (fried olives, chocolate fondue, Capital Grille) drank some wine/margaritas and played some games to name a few things. Colleen & Scott bought us a new lawnmower to use at our new home as well as a ladder. We love to see our family every chance we can get. Yesterday afternoon at 4p Brandon and I closed on our new home! It took 45 minutes. We spent the most money in 45 minutes than ever! But it was well worth it. We can’t wait to move in this weekend and start to get settled in.
Last night we went to our new home and turned the keys for the first time. We toasted with some red wine and plastic cups. Yep, plastic cups. All our glasses are packed up. It was thrilling to finally close. We even had one of our new neighbors stop by to introduce herself. She invited us over to her home to meet her husband and have a toast to us as well. It was a great experience and we look forward to making many new memories in this home.
