Brandon points out the new hoop, in case you can't find it
Today was a joyous day for our culdesac.
Two of my close neighbor friends and I, all of us in our late 20’s, have been trying for the last few months to recapture our youth and figure out how we could come by an inexpensive basketball hoop for the end of the circle. After each of us showed rare patience by passing on taking the easy route and buying one from a sports store at full price, we were finally shown the light!
A free hoop! Compliments of a friend of a friend of a friend who was relocating.
And on the 9th day of August, God made the free hoop. And it was good.
Until one of us throws our back out…
