TS Fay still unleashing the wind & rain

What a mess we have here in Jax and the surrounding areas. The rain and wind has not let up and there has been many reports of power outages (not us fortunately) and flooding (again, not us fortunately). Our lights did blink a bit last night and today, but we are definitely lucky to have power. I have received emails from co-workers and spoke to some as well who have been less fortunate. Many are without power and are dealing with water in their homes.
Brandon is working hard today to keep all the live stream video posted to the CBS & FOX websites he manages locally as well as posting any pictures or video sent in from folks dealing with TS Fay. For the latest updates please go to www.fox30online.com or www.cbs47.com.
I am home today with my doggie Potter who is keeping me company and cuddling on my lap. My wonderful neighbors are also home. We have been checking on each other throughout the day. Tonight may call for a game night to have some fun during this nasty weather.
Since the storm is moving so slowly we are all ready for it to go away. We want the sunshine back!
We will update you tonight on the current conditions and hopefully they will have improved. Thanks again to those of you who keep checking in with us.

Sooo where are the pictures of the “Hurricane Party”?? I hope to see some good ones! Hope you’re power stays on, if not, setup the candles, bring in the card table and drink that beer before it gets warm!!!!

Glad to hear ya’ll are alright. I spoke to mom the other day to check on you guys, she said aside from the rain ya’ll were ok for now. Hope everything stays away from ya’ll but know if anything is needed, all of us in Lousiana are there for you!!!!

Thanks to you all for your concerns and prayers. We are so glad it is almost over! The weather authorities say we still have rain & wind throughout the weekend.
