Current & what is to come…

Well Brandon and I find ourselves having a leisurely morning making breakfast and watching “The American President” with Michael Douglas. It feels great not to have anything we have to do today. As most of you know we have been on the road a lot for the past few months attending weddings and parties for our family and friends. It is a little weird not to have a specific place we need to be. It is time to do the normal things in life like clean our house, run some errands and get excited about what is to come…

This week Brandon and I met to proof our wedding album that my friend & photog boss has created for us. Yeah, after a year we felt it was time to get that done It looks great and we look forward to sharing it with our family & friends soon.

My dad turned 51 years old yesterday and I wish I could have been with him. A card & gift card was my substitute. Not quite the same, but I know he appreciated it.

Thanksgiving is approaching and we are heading out to Albuquerque to enjoy the holiday with B’s parents and grandpa. We have never been out so far West and believe it or not I have never been to his parents home after over 3 years. This will be very special for us. Colleen & Scott have all sorts of things planned, including a family portrait session with the backdrop of the stunning mountain range in ABQ.

In a few weeks my lovely cousin Kali will be getting hitched to Josh Miliken in New Orleans, LA and we can’t wait to be with them to celebrate their marriage. I am one of Kali’s bridesmaids. Kali is one year younger than me and we grew up in LA together. She is a terrific cousin & friend to have in my life. I am so happy for her & Josh. See you both soon!

X-mas will be here before we know it and this year B and I will spend it in LA with my family. I can’t wait to see Nicholas & Noah enjoy their gifts. They will be about 6 1/2 months by this time and I miss them like crazy. They are posted on our blog below…two cuties!

Well it is time to get to the normal life I was talking about…things to get done are awaiting us.
